I agree that Kerogen are the ones that have kept AJL alive and yes they have extracted their pound of flesh.
kerogen hold a lot of debt and are charging a fortune for it. in the past the interest has been capitalized and then rolled into equity raising along the way. IMO they will hold the debt until they see a change in status of Cuadrilla ie a de-risking of some type as at present they hold the security and if this things goes totally pear shaped then they will call on that to get repaid some of their money.
when the de-risking happens they will do the debt for equity, but not before.
