It's looking rather like UK fracking's return from the dead may be short lived
The incomparable GB News reports this morning:
"Ms Reeves said she would be Britain's "first green Chancellor" and promised that fracking "will not happen" if Labour win the next general election."
Given that the effects of last week's disastrous mini budget mean that the Conservative's have as much chance of winning the next election under Truss as I have of becoming Prime Minister, we can be pretty certain that no sane company is going to pour money into an industry that is going to be banned in 2 years time. I certainly wouldn't want to be an investor in a company daft enough to do so. Would you?
