I disagree with you on that last part of your comment.
88e management should be criticised for chasing unconventional and at the time continued purchasing acreage which was apparently only to be used for unconventional. The amount of good money management spent, unsuccessfully chasing unconventional crippled 88e. Only then to practically abandon the whole idea & the acreage and turn around take over another failing and broke company (88e managing director being majority shareholder).

Yes, it’s at least given shareholders another chance of recouping some of their loses and maybe if they find any oil to make some profit.

But it doesn’t mean managemt can’t/shouldn’t be criticise.

would’ve agreed with you if management took a pay cut or differed part of their salary until they perform a successful drill and were too embarrassed mentioning bonuses.
