T+2 - They will still be on the register until 5pm Monday if sold today. Yesterday marked the last day to buy to get on the register.
More importantly though, if you were to sell today to fund the rights issue, you should be trying for more than 17.5c otherwise it is not really worth it due to the 1:2.6.
Sell 100k @ 16c = $16,000, @ 20c = $20,000 ($4k profit)
Entitled to 38,462 @ 15c = $5769.23, @ 20c = $7692.40 (~$1900 profit) Which is a bigger percentage, sure, but at the sacrifice of ~60k shares of ownership.
That is the basic math. You can bring purchase price in to 'maybe' make the argument to sell stronger but it won't change much. Either that or you want the money in your pocket to buy a new TV or something.
The funds, Shaws and other instos know this which is why you're not seeing it fall to 15c, nor will it likely go far above 18c for the short term.
Only a market event or some other news will have an impact on the above.
