Amgen have also been granted "a perpetual world-wide non-exclusive right to Unilife's wearable injectors for use with Amgen's large volume drug products. In addition, Amgen have been granted a perpetual world-wide EXCLUSIVE license for the 1ml WI for certain low-volume drugs.

Amgen want in, and they want in big time.

BTW, they currently have twelve drugs in Phase111 and fifty-odd drugs in the pipeline.

Perhaps the most important aspect right now is one of perception : The fact that a company the calibre of Amgen seeing the value and potential in Unilife - and Unilife's range of delivery device platform technologies - to such an extent that they not only want access to Unilife's products, but are also prepared to buy in 20%, and extend a note to fund through to production - a note repayable not through lump-sum cash, but by discounted pricing of device sales.

Not only that, but the fact that this relationship, which has been some three years in the making, should come to fruition in such a fashion says a lot about the respect Amgen holds for Unilife in its entirety. Also speaks to a lot about confidence in Unilife going forward.

I'll say it again. This is an outstanding result for Unilife.
