Atlas Iron Limited (“Atlas”) (ASX: AGO) refers to its announcement dated 24 April 2018 regarding the implementation of an Unmarketable Parcel sale facility (“Facility”).
Atlas advises that as a result of the announcement of the off-market takeover bid for 100% of the shares in Atlas by Redstone Corporation Pty Ltd (“Hancock Offer”) earlier today, the Facility has lapsed in accordance with Atlas’ Constitution and the ASX Listing Rules.
Shareholders who are participating in the Facility will no longer have their Atlas shares sold and will be able to deal with their shares as if the Facility had never been implemented (including in relation to the Hancock Offer).
Atlas may re-establish the Facility following the close of the Hancock Offer.
