It looks like the quantum of damages under Singapore law for defamation is unlikely to be substantial. Especially if 8M are claiming repetitional loss and cannot quantify actual damages. This of course is subject to 8M even winning the case.
The below values are in Singapore Dollars. The Singapore dollar is almost identical to the Australian Dollar.
