It just doesn't make sense though. There are better and far more efficient ways to swindle money via the back door than a staged High Court case involving lawyers and announcements regulated by market regulators. He lost more from the drop in share price from that defamation claim than the High Court sanctioned damages would be worth. If he wanted to give someone $20,000 he still would have been infinitely better off just handing it over from his own pocket. With his share holding he would make a killing if the company took off. More than all the rest of us put together in fact.
