Saw there have been potential tailing failure/leak event (potential polluting water way) and guessed that maybe Minsur wanted to dispose of a high risk asset in a high risk jurisdiction…
Asset in better hands? Unlikely.
Will be interesting what impact this acquisition has on global trade - you would imagine 100% of product will go straight into China now.
