FWIW, think the announcement reads well for a potential deal. Both sides are still engaged in ongoing talks. I interpret this as Greentech shareholders (in particular Tan Sri Dato Koo) are in principle interested to get sth done as long as the terms and price are right. But it will take time to get this papered down. Brett & Co will need to do loads of DD to be certain what the hidden skeletons at Greentech are. You don’t want to be surprised by some left field off-balance sheet liabilities which are unfortunately common with dodgy China related companies.
