Brett Smith is experienced in working in Asia so you would expect he has planned this out well. Assume the initial offer is lowball and leaves the option for a counter offer from the Chinese which makes everyone happy. It would appear that they are experiencing some turmoil with their litigation case and suspended from trading so hopefully we come out on top with a good value deal.
The only reason we are trading at such low multiples is the impact of the Chinese holding 50%. Time to remove the handbrake!
