On a side note, it seems bizarre that Greentech failed to make any announcement to the HKSE on Thurs evening or Friday re the MLX offer (even though they are in trading suspension, their last announcement was October 23rd relating to quarterly production volumes).

It wouldn't surprise. But the Australian government calls tin a strategic mineral. So don't know how FIRB will think about selling Renison to China. Might just be easier to offtake more from MLX as a condition for not stepping in.
