It’s all good mate, I’m open to criticism and I’m here for a discussion and to offer my opinion FWIW. If I state anything that’s factually incorrect I’m happy to be called on it.
I didn’t know and therefore can’t remember that you’ve worked in the field for a long time, but it makes complete sense to me given your analysis and knowledge – it’s probably why I appreciate your posts. I don’t talk about it either but if we’re putting cards on the table, I’ve worked in the stockmarkets for decades too and am qualified to give advice in equities, derivatives, superannuation, insurance, financial planning etc.
To be clear to anyone reading or moderating, that’s never what I’ve offered on this forum. I’ve been on HC since around 2007, but this profile is only a few years old because I don’t work under an AFSL now so I’m allowed to post under the TOCs of Hotcopper, which I could not do while actively working in the industry. I don’t post very much unless I think there’s something of value to say, and I agree that there’s no winning an internet argument, so I don’t engage in useless banter with rampers or trolls.
Look, if it comes out that they’re doing an ADR I’ll take it on the chin that I’m wrong. I’m just saying that a full security listing does require a min price and as such the consolidation was necessary to meet that price. If it makes the share price more attractive and helps to raise money too, I’m good with that.
Please don’t step back from posting on my account; our viewpoints aren’t diametrically opposed on this stock and it’s ok if we don’t agree, but I don’t think what I’ve said is BS.
