not sure where you are seeing this amount, but remember these are not the UOS account; these are the accounts of UOA which (in MYR) which is ~71% owned by UOS but is fully consolidated into the UOS results which should be out soon.
In addition to UOA, there are a few minor companies, but this is the main company that generates the bulk of what Australian shareholders of UOS get.....an in this case (based on ~70% share):
- net asset per share of ~AUD0.53 although I'd argue that both the property currently rented and the land and inventory they hold for development/sale is undervalued on the balance sheet
- this earned ~AUD 2.5c over the last 12 mths.....so covid has certainly had a material impact on their sales (they should be earning a multiple of that)
Given the cash and investments it has, hard to see any material downside from here, but they need to start cracking on with getting back to 5c EPS to UOS shareholders.
