I don't care whether private equity is funding oil and gas projects , the Chinese are also wanted to buy our biggest cattle station and are buying agriculture assets left right and centre. Should you therefore believe I have struck a deal with the Chinese to buy my old cow that is in my backyard for 10 million dollars. Sounds like you would believe it given the billions Chinese are investing in agriculture globally

As for the AWE comment , you have to look at real deals with valuable assets to work out the proposed value of what you have. It's not apples vs pears its apples vs Apple pips , and I will let you guess which asset it the pip!
I mean seriously , 1000 of production barrels of proven developed and producing land sold for less than " prospective " undrilled acreage.its amazing what some want to believe
