think you miss my point.
price spikes on big discovery / fads etc. I’m talking a quick spike where FOMO kicks in and pushes the price up to ridiculous levels completely out of line with MC. Eventually they comeback to Earth, but there’s a window of opportunity to become rich - that won’t happen after consolidation. Well it won’t happen quickly.
i recall a pot stock that was trading at around 1 cent prior to hype. It shot up to $1.50 for a few days & then predictably collapsed. But you had the opportunity to sell into the rush. God help anyone that bought at $1.50...
