Well that's simply not true...
I've recently held through a 1/100 consolidation and the share price is holding up well...
difference being that company is already producing gold...
the problem I see here is it seems the company seems to be starting from scratch so we have gone from a battery chemical explorer to a gold explorer so without any results from the already held tenements be it nickel gold silver we are starting again...
I have seen a lot of new companies that struggle to hold the sp while waiting for the first drill results from the new main focus...
