Australian company tax rate is 30%, we got fully franked dividend, that means we got dividend after the company paid 30% . So if you got 70c fully franked dividend in hand, you actually got another 30c tax credit in ATO (The company paid you $1.00 actually). If you got fully franked dividend X, in the meantime, you got X /7 then times 3 tax credit in ATO.
That is why I worked out tax credit per BHP share is A$1.0936
