We all love BHP but it has a lot of issues outstanding at the moment.
The major one playing on my mind is the Samarco disaster and the fact that it has a current class action in UK courts that could add to the already huge liability that BHP has at $17billion.
Other downsides are Nickel shuttered, Coal and iron ore price dropping
Plus side of things for BHP are Copper prices rising and volume rising and Potash prices holding up well, but potash is not going to be happening until late 2026 I think.
Looks like a couple of poor years to go for BHP IMO.
