There doesn't seem to be a way of dodging the NZ PIE tax, as an Australian Investor it seems 28% is the standard tax, the 40cents NZ being reduced to around 26cents Australian. Maybe it can be used as an offset on taxable income as foreign tax paid, but it is not refundable, am I right on this or can someone offer an alternative?
