A$1.01 is a fair price for the DRP.
With the recent 20 day closure of the important LAU profit centre that's the rail line to Perth from 'eastern states' and ongoing poor consumer confidence among those exposed to housing interest rate rises, plus ongoing services and previously goods inflation above the RBA's target range, LAU's result for 2H 24 may be at the lowest end of its forecast - time will tell.
That's still in my book satisfactory, but eventually LAU should be able to resume somewhat faster growth. Australia's road transport subsector continues to be composed of a few large companies but mostly very small entities.
Volume by midmorning at 53,000 is not high so it'll be interesting to see if Mr LM is continuing to divest part of his holding.
