I went back and re-read the risk management notes and the interest rate sensitivity notes in the Annual Report and concluded that the financial impact on LFG of increasing interest rates were much lower than what I had surmised based on reading lots of analysts comments on various non bank lenders.
The fact that Sherman Ma owns just under 50% is a lot of skin in the game and meets my Founder Mentality test.
Basically I think I was wrong about the impact of higher interest rates. I also think the RBA will increase rates at a slower pace from now on.
