Withholding tax at 15% (minimum) on all dividends as per double tax treaty between USA and Australia . The 15% deducted from our divs is claimed as a tax credit in our Aus income tax return for the entity that holds the NEM shares. So in effect we are taxed at Aus tax rates on the foreign dividend . No different tax treatment than any unfranked divs received from any Aus company.
