I used to work there. They pay staff bonuses purely in share rights that vest in tranches over a few years. No cash at all. Richard White always insisted this was the best thing for employees. The last round of share rights they issued was around September/October 2019 when the share price was close to all-time highs, so hundreds of employees must be pretty pissed off right now. A tiny dividend isn't going to appease them but maybe it's a factor in management's thinking.
