this type of Ann is rarely deemed PS, not an exception. When companies are buying stock, unless their commodity is in a bull market, it’s usually during a downturn as they’re undervalued. Look at most large caps gold miners buying back worth an eastern suburbs house a day while heading lower. It’s better for their books, but the SP trends down for a while still. For lo term this is the most ideal moment for a company to buy - not when their MC is ‘overvalued’
