The Chairman mentioned that there is a limit to how many shares they can buy per day (so as to not disproportionately influence the share price). Not sure if it is a % of volume traded thing or a set number of shares, but it does seem to put a speed limit in place.
He did however say that he would be horrified if it took them the whole 12 months to complete the BB, so it sounds like they want to go as fast as they can.
