It's also worth noting that they were buying aggressively right up until the blackout began, and they would have had the complete 1H23 sales data in front of them at that point.
Sadly, the details you confirmed won't prevent people from asking 'why has the buyback stopped' and claiming that it means a downgrade is imminent. It is just the HC way - facts are like water off a duck's back..
