buyback was initiated in $4 range. instead of whining check the price at the time of announcement. It was $4.91. If you are not aware of buyback rules you better check them out. I can tell you that one of them - buyback can’t start at least 1 month after the announcement.
buyback is not causing this bull run, it just helping it. Buying back 3% of shares by itself won’t cause 35% price appreciation. What it shows that management see current price levels as heavily undervalued, so market start pricing it closer to appropriate level
