Capital management and progress on cost control will be main focus when Australia's AMP announces HY results on Aug 8 - analysts at JPMorgan
** Shares of wealth manager AMP rise 0.9% to A$1.125, while the broader benchmark index XJO rises 0.3%
** JPMorgan says AMP's cost-reduction targets, if achieved, would represent material uplifts to EBIT
** Brokerage assumes A$200 mln ($130.30 mln) of capital return in FY25
** Sees continued pressure on AMP's bank division, forecasts continued negative loan book through 1HCY24
