I know the performance stats don’t back me, but I still prefer a degree of active management, rather than purely passive.
But the main reason is the buffer provided by the discount to NTA that is on offer at certain times (like right now). That’s the time to be accumulating LICs IMO.
And I agree with you on the tax front…. LICs are dead simple compared to ETFs when it come to tax time.
