13 July 2022 BET started its buyback. Using https://www.shortman.com.au/stock?q=BET as the only reference/graph I have, it seems that the shorts have increased as the buyback has progressed.
Is this how shorting usually takes place?
Would management be aware of this, to me anyway, strange situation?
I understand that if management feel that the 'market' is not pricing the shares correctly, then it's a good time to buy back. Here's hoping for a strong take up of receipts, USA tracks, and global betting systems so that this strange situation goes no further.
