Uber - sometimes reading historic reports without a detailed understanding of what was happening operationally and what is happening results in poor conclusions . Let me pose a question. Why are they going to hit over 6 m NPAT this year with a run rate looking at 8 plus next year ? What has changed ?
buying back NTA ( which is net of the debt you speak ) at half the value is value accretive . Debt can be reduced quickly if they wanted to go down that path by not recycling asset disposals
The concentrated shareholder base you speak of is also due to large insider holding some of which has been relatively recently . This is a plus not a negative
I keep close to how the company is going as I have a large.holding - fortunately for me I bought more at 11.5 so my average sits at current price so happy to hold for a couple more years and allow this team to execute further
the beauty about the market is nobody is forcing you to buy so you can remain a non holder and I a holder
