The drilling of a new well could possibly come down to current staratergy, and that could posibly be under review owing to other things that we are unaware of at this point of time.
Lets say that there are negotiatioins going on as far as Monetisation goes, this could alter there current stratergy and how things play out. Why drill a new well in an area that is under review, or even in one thats not..why not wait untill there is a clearer direction and more money in the bank possibly, then restratergise. Especially when there is cash already rolling in, the new wells will come in as needed to cover the cash required, draining an asset is different from proving an asset
I think there is more going on here thant we know of at the moment given the lack of imediate direction and no real forward plan, but time will tell
