I went to my son’s AFL game the other day. (I volunteer as a goal umpire, I get out of canteen duty, and actually appreciate the game more, messy at it is).
They were playing the form team of the comp, away game, expecting to get smashed, no subs, the other team had 4 subs.
Down 10 at first quarter, behind by 4 at half time.
Maybe the our boys will run out of petrol?
Took lead in 3rd quarter.
Won 73 to 66.
This buyback game is still in the first quarter yeah?
My 15’s AFL didn’t panic like many here.
I mean that with no disrespect. Money’s hard earned and being in the red sucks. But let’s see how the game pans out eh?.
