I read a post sometime back which said the management thought selling at this price was 'mind boggling'.
Now taking this at face value, I would say to label shareholders thus is slightly ill advised, if for no other reason that it is very dismissive of shareholders.
But a more practical reason is, if you're going to slight your shareholders then you better be able to put your money where your mouth is, that is prove to shareholders that they were wrong to sell.

Score so far shareholders 1. management 0 in that particular game.

In the longer game the shareholders are getting well and truly ***bed, and this travesty of a buy back is unhelpful to say the least.
A buy back result which flies totally in the face of their bemoaning the undervalued nature of the business,
Well the buy em back ever cheaper champions will be after me again, so I'll desist.

I remain hopeful and a buyer, but sadly to average down. I await the day when I see a green wash over my brookside line, and I can decide to average up.
