"involves the avoidance of harm to the overall reputation of the company and shareholders, as well as compliance with the law' - right well then if a monetisation is soon coming ("soon" up to a court to decide), and BRK are "making the market" to lower the sp in a buy back, then harm has certainly been done to reputation of company and shareholders. I sincerely hope this is not the case.
