ideas for a NED at BRK.

interact with the board and paid management from the position of shareholders views.
eg monitor non prudent management corporate decisions eg interest free loans to directors have zero personal exposure to shareholding (when we are in need of funds).

promote a consolidation of SOI maybe.

moniter expenses of staff and board.

promote transparency.

can find some other ideas but IMO all boards should have a good sprinkling of NEDs and esp here where DP RedFork seems to have a bad smell from the markets view. keep and eye on Walker, CPS and other parties the market is wary of.

our Dans not perfect. eg IMO for every Twiggy there are many failures. and there is evidence that management buying is a good signal to the market (recent Dan posts). but while it would be less from him here in our HC echo chamber, I think he could promote better transparency

I would think about buying more stock. yes Dan the Dentist on the board would be a buy signal for me.
