The share price increase is a a double edged sword. Good for the portfolio but cr@p for the buyback as we get less bang for our buck.
The price increase may have been due the increase in HRC prices in the US but also a broker upgrade to $24.
Shares on issue are down to 445,900,000, They have bought back 100,000,000 shares this buyback. And with massive cash flows coming in , they should continue to extend the buyback.
The breaking of $21 was also big as that looked like the ceiling for the last few years.
