honestly I'm not sure and I wasn't clear-perhaps better if I say I don't mind R&D if it is for future expansion into a new customer etc. etc. R&D for R&D's sake on the existing sole customer seems like a waste. Your second point at the moment feels like what they are doing-muddle along and do a buy back. Which is unfortunate.
