If the strategy is to continue to use the funds from the existing GM contract to implement the buy/back scheme until a new GM contract is negotiated, then it is short-sighted/inactive management.
With all the technology/AI developments now available, it is somewhat concerning that we see a rise in the salary package for a CEO who now appears to have gone into cruise control whilst traveling on the coattails of one contract with scant information being supplied to the market re any developments.
Bit pathetic really.
