386k shares bought back significant out of only 903k traded for the day.
Range bought 87.5c-89c confirms that the buy back does not take place in the pre-market auction.
Ex-dividend today. Price likely to fall at the open. If buyback continues today then possibly it will start after the opening at hopefully the day's lowest SP or close to it.
Of course, in the long run, the ex-div fall does not make a difference in the long run. But psychologically, given the trauma of holding at 60c or so, it would be nice to recover the SP quickly.
For what it is worth- the more you learn about how the market works the better.
It will be all about the fundamentals in the long run- and the fundamentals here are good.
