It's a bit hard to say I think, without knowing the plans. My guess is that the company is working towards an orderly winding up, and is not anticipating any need for major expenditure. If it assesses the recent trading prices as well below net realisable value (per share) of company assets, it would make sense to continue with the announced buy-back. Anyway I might cease my contributions in this particular thread, @Chass, as some earlier responses have not been encouraging.
