The sell off over the years has been horrible. Much of it was pre bnpl. You may recall year after year of huge one off write-offs eg instore advertising displays. These erode confidence in management over time then add on on the bnpl circus and a failed merger with latitude and bingo 39.5 cents SP.
I reckon between AA and new CEO Stuart Grimshaw we may have a dynamic duo sticking to the knitting and leading Humm Group back to prosperity.
The Half Year result due on Feb 20th will be fascinating.
