It was interesting that there was no buyback on Thursday even though the price that they were allowed to buy at was above the traded share prices on the day. It'll become even more interesting if they didn't buyback any shares on Friday as again the price they were allowed to buy at was above the share prices on the day. What would be the reason? Maybe a bombshell announcement coming in the next week. Maybe this announcement will be preceded by a Trading Halt very early in the week. When will this announcement first be released? I would guess it will first be released in The House of Representatives of the Thai parliament on Wed28May in the first reading of the Annual Budget for FY26(1Oct25-30Sep26). So did they stop the buyback one week before this event? Pure speculation on my part - you can probably assign it to the other 'rubbish' I sometimes post here. And then the speculation becomes what is in the Budget documents relating to Kingsgate - royalty relief? cash compensation? agreement by both parties to let TAFTA expire on 30Sep25 as scheduled? Damn I knew I should have bought more.
