I am hugely in favour of buy-backs.
If they pay dividends, there are no franking credits. So I am taxed at marginal rates. If they buy back shares, this should ultimately make my shares worth more, on which I only pay capital gains which is half of my marginal rate. Should apply to all.
Keep using the spare cash to buy back shares.
