You have a valid point but I think management is trying to weed out weak hands and therefore when pump comes, it should rocket.
Further, this would also increase the value of the company given less shares on issue.
Plus if a CR is required down the line at a price higher than 0.8c then both the company and the shareholders win.
Just my few cents.
