I just listened to the call. Yes he did state that.
that was actually a fairly lively call with a few questions from institutional participants (as opposed to no questions for the past few quarterly calls).
One thing that bugged me was that he kept referring to "that is a decision for the board". As CEO, he needs to have a strategic direction that is endorsed by the board but those statements gave me the impression that the board is setting the strategic direction and he is just following them!
