Re tin price, some really odd price action. SHFE traded rather well today, all things considered. Most active contract closed at CNY 225,080/t. That's about US$27,600/t after adjusting for FX and VAT. But LME futures getting puked out again, hitting US$27,100/t low for the day. Seems a handful of speculative accounts are getting run over. LME used to trade at a premium to SHFE most recently, presumably due to a bigger supply shortage in LME vs SHFE warehouse system.
All very IMHO. Just observing the data on a website.
