I'd normally have said its just a temporary hold given they're only half way through, but this has been a prolonged stall in their buyback.
I would suggest shareholders will see a dip in the price of shares once this buyback is completed. Without the bank as a large standing buyer in the mkt itself, using retained earnings, one has to wonder who is buying NAB up here. The problem with buybacks is they always falsely accentuate highs in stocks.
