Share buyback is subject to the blackout period. The normal business progress is unlikely to be hurdles to stop buying back, unless something big news like pending Phase trial results.
Share buyback effectively reduces total issued shares, lifting share price if the valuation remains the same. As NEU is still utilising some tax losses, share buyback is a very good option.
I expect the board to upsize the buyback, probably at next AGM.
